Ad-Aware is un-aware...

My Ad-Aware application freezes during a system scan at:
C:\Documents and Settings\Cust\Local Settings\Temp\isp11.tmp

Properties says it is:

General: _Setup.dll

File Version: 10.50.0.125
Description: InstallShield (R) Setup Launcher Resources
Copyright: Copyright (C) 2004 Macrovision Corporation
Created: Saturday, September 09, 2006
Attributes: "Archive"

Because it's in a temp file I think it's not truly necessary and am willing to delete it; but I wanted to ask the Expurtz.

What would you do?

You can delete any *.tmp files in that directory if it will let you. You don't need them.

My bet is that you may have problems deleting it. May say it's in use.

If so drop to the cmd prompt end execute the following commands:

cd\
cd \Documents and Settings\Cust\Local Settings\Temp
del *.tmp

If it doesn't let you delete it (access denied)
try reattributing the file:

cd\
cd \Documents and Settings\Cust\Local Settings\Temp
attrib -r -s -h isp11.tmp

i just answered it:

There should be a space in between the del and the asterick:
del[space]*.tmp

like this:
del *.tmp

Ad-Aware found some bad bid'nezz in my Bow'zer Cache.
