| Needing soundcard driver file "lw3drv.exe" The gateway legacy lives on and I need their driver file to operate their Boston Digital BA735 digital only speakers. I have found several sites with the d/l but they want registration and my email addy isn't going to any site; no matter how "free" their download might be. Spam's avoidable.... The card is a SoundBlaster Live! basic [wdm] but it needs to be told to deliver digital to the sprechen'z. lw3drv.exe should do it. Enne-one know where that file resides?

| At this point in time, it now resides on my hard drive. I also have a couple accts just for spam, so I registered with one of them and DL'd the driver for you. Shoot me a PM or an email and let me know where to send it.

| Thanks Bargod. I really appreciate your effort.  Edit: What is the name of the motel you manage? Where in Wichita? I don't have an overnight Wichita trip in mind but I will be there sometime soon.

| Welpers, I wuz board this evening and decided I should try again to make some noise come from my confuser. This time I ventured onto Gateway's site and ignored their post about the drivers not werking with w2k. I retrieved the scrap of paper that had the cereal number of the original build and Gateway let me slip through the gate and I downloaded some antique driver for the soundcard that will digitize the output for the speakers. Golly geewhillaikers! It werkz even though Gateway said it wouldn't. Only two problems now: the vBRadio has some dead links; and this software opens the mics of everyone logged onto DB and I CAN HEAR YOU TALKING. jk..

| I have actually gotten out of hotels. After going from waiter to General Manager in 5 years, I was a little burnt out. I now work for T-Mobile. Sorry I can't help you out.
