| More Computer Help I just got a new motherboard for my computer my old one was damaged in the fire. I was able to save the video card and hard drive. I keep trying to put the hard drive in on the new motherboard and it won't even detect that a hard drive is connected. I tried with a different hard drive. One that I know works and it detects it, but it pops up an error. I've tried going into safe mode, but it doesn't help can somebody help me out I'm getting frustrated here hehe.

| It comes up with a blue screen and says that i need to remove the hard drive or hard drive controllers or run /chkdsk, but I know the hard drive is ok. It was working in a different computer. But my hard drive that was in it just doesn't even detect it there.

| Brand new cables. Here is the exact error. A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer Technical Information: ***Stop:0x0000007B (0xF9678528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000 The hard drive works in the original computer it came from, so I know it's not corrupted.

| The only thing I can think of is to check your jumpers on your drives and make sure they are jumped properly as to main or slave settings.
