| First impression: Lord of the Rings Online is kind of like World of Warcraft in a lot of ways, just set in Middle-Earth.

| For me, its Dark Ages of Camelot meets World of Warcraft in alot of ways. The UI is definately WoW, but the graphics are DAoC. Not real sure about the game-play so far, since its just a couple of days and with all the new influx of toons (me included) its hard to get a feel of what direction they want to go. Maybe in a week or so when the powerlevelers are out of the teen levels and folks start to spread out, we wont be tripping over each other for quests and spawns. The only real frustrating thing so far is the map. The places of interest that you visit are flagged, but not labeled. Forces you to remember what the heck the flag means. Im Sinalle (lvl9 Champion) on the Brandywine server. |

| I agree with you there you can see alot of WoW in it. I do enjoy the way the tie in some of the well known characters and story lines though. It started to thin out last night when I was playing it wasn't as laggy and less crowded, but if you play the elf story line you will run into the Frostmantle horn quest and there was a line of people waiting for that spawn it was almost impossible to get in in time. What server are you on LordFoulsBane?

| Looks like you two are on the other server. Im up to lvl15, so I will stay where I am until the next server wipe and then we can all decide which one to he to. Liking it so far. Not amazing, but does pass the time |

| There are plenty of quests to keep you busy throughout the game. I think I might have a character on the other server i'll check.

| Wow. When it rains it pours. I just got a beta invite from SOEs Vanguard Online. What to do, what to do...? Maybe I'll take a couple of weeks off from the PD and play 24/7  |
