| Oh yes. I know I'm driving a peddle car on the superhighway... I'm in a holding pattern wondering if vista is worth the wait regarding my impending NEW COMPUTER purchase.... I'll pay attention during my next bootup... is that the F2 option? Setup? This morning's surfing intrigued me when I compared the two different vBulletin boards. Nearly identical but with very different load timing... and I imagined that my ram was overwhelmed.... Usual procedure is to close IE often to let it dump... and then reopen. I did make one change for this session: System Properties>Advanced>Performance Options..... I switched "Application response" "Optimize performance for:" and I checked "Applications" instead of "Background services".... I haven't noticed much change... yet.

| confusers are too cheap to put up with that crap, Uncle Lurker - trash it, make a trip to KC, visit Best Buy and get one on sale.....the prices aren't so bad that you can't buy another when the other OS comes out.

| Maybe the incoming Democrat congress will buy you one with somebody else’s money.
