| Website Design for 501 C non profit Hey guys and gals. I am currently taking a web design class through Fort Hays and for my final project I have to design a functioning website for a Non Profit organization of my choice. I believe the only thing the organization has to spring for would be the hosting and domain name. If anyone has any ideas on whom would be interested I would greatly appreciate it. My first 3 choices are already taken care of so I am getting desperate. Thanks!

| I am "non-profit" gunnar, but that's not by choice!  How about any of the local churches, or the Manna House? |

| You might have a problem finding a non profit that wants to actually pay to host and buy the domain. If having a webisite costs too much - they might want one but not be able to really work it in thier budget. Ya might try checkin with the Sr Center or the SWAKKA (are they still at St Mary's?) They might know of an organization that is just not in the limelight. Does Meals on Wheels have a website or does it come under someone elses?

| How much money are you talking about for the domain? Most non-profits have a pretty tight budget I think. Have you tried the Center for Independent Living?

| www.godaddy.com That's the registration/hosting place I've used to set up several non-profit websites. They are inexpensive and easy to work with.

| Thanks for all the help guys.. I will look into it a bit more and maybe contact some of those people, I may be wrong on the domain name and hosting but I figure someone has to pay for it. And seeing as how I had to shell out 200 bucks for the software I hope it isn't me!
