Question about Adobe Acrobat PDFs

I need an answer pretty quickly if possible. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

I merged two pdfs into one document. Now I need to rearrange those pages. When I open the pages tab and try to drag and drop, it sometimes works and sometimes replaces one page with another instead of dropping it after.

Also, sometimes it switches the pages position.

Ideas?

I should also say that I am working with Adobe Professional.

I wish I could help, but I've got no experience with Adobe Professional. Sorry. All the Army gives us in Adobe Reader.

In the pages tab, try right-clicking and seeing what options it gives you. As far as the drag-and-drop, it may depend on whether, after you've dragged, you've highlighted the bar between the pages or the pages themselves.

I haven't had any problems with adding pages, but I haven't played with swapping the order.

Worst case scenario? Extract one page, save as a different file, and import it back in wherever you want. A bit more time and clicking, but it'll get it done correctly.

I think I wasn't paying attention to what was highlighted and instead was dropping pages on top of other pages instead of between them.
