It doesn't make a difference -- it's still very slow. It seems that this has happened over the past couple of months, and of course the tech at SBC/ATT told us to clear our cookies, etc. to see if it helps. And it did not.
Thanks again for anyone's ideas. Our idea is to switch to Cox.

I had some issues like that a while back. I replaced my modem with a wireless gateway I got off ebay. Took care of the problem.
