| Thanks Detector for you input. I've also noticed that vBulletin is a vBull when it comes to bandwidth economy. I uninstalled AVG just now and will see how it operates for a few daze. It is faster without AVG. The current state of computer protection is somewhat like fearing mice in the house. Seal the cracks? Get traps? Get a Kat? But noooooooo.... The "answer" comes in the form of a virtual Mountain Lion disrupting the household searching for an elusive (or nonexistent) mouse.... Is it possible to cache all of the extraneous smilies/buttons/logo?

| I still believe that could indicate a code intense page. Both my PC's are using cookies but the one that has no antivirus/antispyware runs like a house a fire. When you're logged in more code is used by vBulletin to log stuff such as your ID, pages you visit/view control panel and the likes. Try this link and see if its slow loading. http://vnboards.ign.com/board.asp?brd=5156

| Bad Cookie? Welp, I experienced another slow-down today and in the course of logging out to view more pages both sites hurl'd their cookies. That may be a good thing as both sites are back to normal now.... We'll see how long this lasts....
