| Powerpoint on Dodge City Well my finals are here and as one assignment I have to create a powerpoint presentation about a city of state of my choice. Obviously i've chosen Dodge. Now i've already gathered some info from Wikipedia and some other sites, but i'd like some more information from actual residents and i'd like to do one of the slides about the Dodgeboard itself. So any info would help. Here are some of the requirements: History Scenic attractions Landmarks Wildlife? Refuges? Symbols…nickname, date of statehood, flag, motto, flower, bird, tree, rock Dates, i.e. statehood Map Recreational opportunities Cultural events Highway infrastructure Government – governor? Mayor? Weather conditions Educational facilities Population numbers Thanks in advance for any info. Dustin

| Go down to the Heritage Center. It's just like a library on one side. You can find a lot of info about Dodge City there. You can also go to KDOT and/or Servi-Tech for different types of maps. KDOT can also provide info on Highway infrastructures. The district web site is www.usd443.org for educational facilities. The city's web site is www.dodgecity.org. You can also get some photos from this web site http://www.americanwest.com/pages/dodge.htm or this one http://skyways.lib.ks.us/orgs/fordco/dodgecity.html. Good luck & I'll keep looking for info. | was needing a bit more help. does anybody have or can anybody get current pictures of Dodge City and some of it's more popular landmarks? Here are some pics i need if anybody can. El Capitan DCRP Boothill The Cowboy sign coming into town. Anything else that makes current Dodge what it is. Thanks in advance! Dustin.
