Don't Get Left Behind in the World of Technology; Learn Everything About the "Hip" IPhone 3GS

You have to wipe of the dust of file folders to find out when Apple, the creator of the iPhone, was created. However, you don't have to take long to find out when the iPhone was invented. Many reputable companies alive have not been as successful as Apple with phone sales...

I'm in the market for a new phone to replace my HTC Mogul (Sprint). I like Sprint - they're about as good as the others - customer service sucks, but there's a store up here not far away that has some good techs, so I don't really care about the customer service.

Long story short - I've been looking at the new Palm Pre. Decided I wanted to get one when they came out. Looked at one in the store and decided I didn't want it. Now I've changed my mind again. This is my dilemma: I need/want a different phone even though the Mogul has been very good. I'm not completely sold that the new Palm OS is stable. The boss has a Palm-based device and she has a lot of trouble with it. When I upgrade, would I rather upgrade to the HTC Touch Pro (with the Qwerty keyboard and the memory card slot) or the Palm Pre? The Pre is a slick-lookin' device, but I don't want to "upgrade" to something less.

Any brainiacs out there that can help me decide?

Not only that but it isn't available in Dodge City because there is no AT&T cell provider to give you service.

I don't think you really want AT&T service there anyways. Back when the wife had Cingular/AT&T, there were large dead zones INSIDE Wichita. The school where she teaches, which is several miles inside the city, was in a dead zone. Awful customer service also. When I travel, my Verizon gets coverage in places where I could only dream of having coverage back when I had Cingular/AT&T.

I had a Palm Treo and had a LOT of trouble with it. It would roam randomly (and rack up roaming charges) and it would lock up frequently. Long story short, I'll never buy another Palm product. I have the Blackberry Curve now, and love it. Hope this helps!

I'm not totally sure about the palm pre but I know that palm has alot of problems. I have att and i live in dodge. Works just fine and I traveled through wichita, okc, dallas, and all the way through the boonies in east texas and had no dead zones or roaming at all... All the crap about att shutting users off in dodge city is false as well... I have had att since october last year and used it primarily in dodge and it works just fine....

Palm pre has 600mhz processer and so does the iPhone 3GS... and the Palm pre is the same price as the iphone 3GS but the Iphone has double the memory! Also the iPhone has 256mb of ram and a digital compass as well. So idk I'm heading on vacation to colorado then texas next month and im going to pick up a iPhone 3GS in Colorado Springs and sell my iPhone 3G to a recycling company online.

If you live in Dodge City how did you get AT&T as a carrier? Did you lie about where you live? Or did you live somwhere else and have AT&T as your provider before you moved here?

If you live in Dodge City, you cannot get AT&T as a service provider. Period. Unless you lie or cheat. Now, if you live someplace else that has AT&T then move to Dodge they will probably let you keep there service.
