Review: Fireside Grill

I took a friend out for her birthday. We both had the prime rib. She had the small (which she couldn't finish) and I had the large. It came with mixed beans, potato, gravy, salad, soup and rolls. It was delicious. The meat was perfectly prepared. We topped it off with a bananas foster. The dessert wasn't quite as good as the main dish. The bananas were like leather. She had rice pilaf instead of potato. Her rice was bland-no taste at all.

One side note...We had to wait for 25 minutes for a seat. When we got seated, we noticed they were only about 20% full. I'm not sure why people are having to wait so long with all the available seating, perhaps the chef is not able to keep up??

Overall, I give them an A-. It's worth the money and I'm sure they will get better with time.

Is that what the prime rib REALLY looked like, Tee? Or is that a "canned" picture from Vegas? It would be nice if they could get some help so they could seat the entire restaurant. Was gonna take friends and family out there for a meal while they are here for the holidays, but all those 'older' people are not very patient with waiting! Maybe instead of importing packing plant workers, we should import some waiters, cooks, and busboys?
