| Just looked in and noticed that Sarocha's Thai is making a buffet now. According to the door sign it will start this friday from 11 to 2pm to accomodate the lunch hour for most folks. The owners said they are aware of the lunch rush and want to better accomodate this stressful time so people can come in and get a quality thai meal and be back to work on time! Sounds like dreams do come true! ![]() |

| Went to Sarocha today for lunch. The food was very good but it was fairly slow to come out. I imagine they're still trying to find their groove in a new place. It'll be nice to have a lunch buffet with some different types of items on it rather than the Chinese places. |

Just was browsing down the comments everyone has been saying about Sarocha's Thai Restaurant at the old silver spur. Anyway, just wanted to let you know they do serve Bill Mah's Almond Chicken. The owner Mike Mah said he is producing a revised menu with the Almond Chicken on it but until then you just have to ask for it. He brought out a heaping serving and it is just as good as the good ol' days when his grandpa ran the joint. Go get some and keep this guy in business. They people really work at making good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Everyting is all hand made right when you order it so it is as fresh as you can get. You could go to Lotus and get some picked over buffett that doesn't really taste good in the first place or you can put your money on Bill Mah's great grandson so he can carry on the torch for another generation. Trust me, the Mah's Almond Chicken is awesome! |

| I work for the silver spur hotel, we lease the property that they use for the resturant and I interact with Mike 4-5 times a week. I can tell you that they have put alot of work into that building, cleaning up, repairing, etc. They don't have alot of employees so they are often on property deep into the night, I believe they even sleep in some of the unused rooms in the building. I've seen them various times still scrubing and organizing at 3, 4 in the morning. The food is very high quality, although you must remember, it is far from fast food, but good things come to those who wait. I urge everyone next time they are thinking of going to pizza hut or applebees, to try eating here instead and support a hard working local buisness that produces a quality product. |
