A friend of mine called Mike Mah, Sarocha's husband, and asked him if he knew about the review on here. He said some people from Emporia were in last week on their way from an OPSU game their son was playing in. He said he had never seen a white guy eat spicy food like that! Anyway, I wanted to retract what I said about it sounding like the owners posted such a good comment. I will eat there this week!! Have a great day!

OK AOO, there you go bringing RACE into it again!! Just what is this supposed to mean?? Derogatory!! Us "white guys" don't like that word. Just call a "spade a spade". Cracker, albino, pink mf, gringo, wop, jew, china doll, whatever---! Besides that, everybody knows that the real mexicans, asians, etc, don't really eat that spicy stuff. Why apologize for bein cynical???? Hell most of us are a little cynical. You were speakin from experience not to trust everything ya read or hear and less of what ya see. Don't make ya bad boy.......... cause it crossed my mind too - even tho I know the Mah's can cook - I knew thier grandparents - not them. The need to suceed can do strange things and it wouldn't be the first time someone pretended to be who they are not - on the internet..... come to think of it - cheapest advertizing I can think of. Wonder how the feller found out bout DB???........ oh well water under the bridge and another buck in the till............ enjoy the food - I'm jealous!!

Yeah Texie, but unlike AOO, I am not really a predjudiced person. As a "minority" in Dodge City, I look for the goodness inside a person, or lack of it!

I told the owner (Sarocha's husband) that we heard about thier restaurant on DodgeBoard.com. He said "really?, I had heard that we were on that internet" then acted dumb about what was written or where it was at (this site).

As I left, after he asked how everything was, and he suggested that I submit a post in reply to the thread on DodgeBoard. As I left and got into the car, it dawned on me that his terminology was not that of a person that knew little of internet boards. I felt a little "duped" but It really doesn't change the fact that the food was very good. I stand by my endorsement, irrespective of possibly being played.

Perhaps he visits but didn't write the post - either way - good food is good food! Cheap advertising (well free advertising) is a good thing and it ain't braggin if it's true - which it seems to be!

I am the friend Army referred to.

Mike has tried to post on here before but he had some problems with registration, but I did too. He has not read the thread since it was first posted. It sounds like miscommunication or paranoia to me.
