 new thai restaurant Just tonight we went to the new thai restaurant its located in the old silver spur, its called "Sarocha's Thai Restaurant" they have it fixed up really nice inside, and its super clean, and the food!! wow, my mouth is still watering, it was really fresh, and just delicious! i just cant wait till tomorrow so i can have what i couldnt finish tonight. The girl that was cooking (im guessing her name is Sarocha) her husband was waiting our table, and he told us that his grand dad was Bill Mah,(you know from the silver spur a LONG time ago) and he brought us some egg rolls that he was able to duplicate the recipe of his grand dads egg rolls, they were so good!! yummy! everyone should go and try this new place, i bet you will love it!! oh and the menu has picures in it of the dishes, he said he took the pictures him self! so you can see what your really getting! | I really enjoyed eating in the new Thai joint and would recommend it to anyone. On the other hand, the restaurant just west of it (Inn Pancake House) was closed today by the inspectors.. Way too many problems to relate except to say that the East Indian fellow(s) aren't clean enough for pigs....

| I havent heard anything personally about the food, but I am anxious to try it. However, I have had someone tell me they went there for lunch and, even though the sign outside said open, the lights were off, doors were locked, and no one was inside. I also had some coworkers go there for their lunch break and, after their 45 minutes was up, still had not gotten their food. When they asked why, the reply was there was only one cook working and everything was going slowly. I guess I will schedule to go there only in the evening and when I have a couple hours to burn. |

| we went there today and the egg rolls are out of this world. Took too long but think that will get better over time. We really enjoyed the food and will go back and have our fingers crossed that the service - re time - gets better |

| i dont think they have any american food on their menu joker... i took my 9 year old niece there today, and she had the orange chicken, and she thought it was really good....we were looking for something that wasnt too thai. it does take a little while to get your food, but i think its all made to order, and i think there is just one cook... but she is a really good cook, i dont think i would want someone back there helping her, because they might jack it up or something... i think its worth the wait! |
