I'm a sucker for redheads, so any movie that has one as a lead I am more than likely going to see it. It's a curse.

I never played the video game this movie is based on but I can assume it is way better. I wasn't expecting oscar material, and I was not let down. I was expecting a little better though......
The lead actress is the same one who played the bad cyborg in "Terminator 3". I liked her in that movie. Obviously she should stick to roles that do not require her to try and show emotion, she is not good at it. Ben Kingsley also prooves that even with an oscar there are still crappy roles for you to play.
I am one of those people who watch a movie and cannot help but pick out the "flubs". You know, how a wrecked car can suddenly not have any damage and such. Well, this movie is chock full of this stuff. It is a very gory movie, but the gore is so MUCH that you don't even notice anymore. Nothing ruins a good sword through the midsection scene more than fountains of blood spraying everywhere BEFORE the sword even hits. Classic I tell you. Or how a person can slice, dice, bite, chew their way through about 10 people, with blood squirting and flying everywhere....then all of a sudden be clean?
I can forgive all this because, well, she is a redhead and they do have a pretty cool sex scene.

Things to look for if you get this movie:
A good tan on a vampire (No tan lines, though, when she is naked)
A gusher of blood exploding from BELOW a person when they are getting cut with a sword accross the midsection while standing up (hint: it is the carnival leader and it looks really cool if you can slo-mo it)
The one and only black person (he has only one short scene, but they show it twice)
The rolling razor wheels that only work when you enter a room, but not when you try to leave it.
There are many more I am sure, enjoy looking for them.

Yes I know exactly what you mean, this movie in know ways fits the video game of Bloodrayne, but like you i'm a sucker for a redhead plus it came with a free PC version of Bloodrayne 2.
