| You can always...catch a movie, watch cable, bowl (when there is not leagues and they are not closed), drag Earp (oops, sorry, slip of memory), cruise the park (sorry, slip of memory again). Well, you're right. Nothing to do in DC.

| Totally agree! Nothing fun to do anymore. You have to go to Garden to skate. You have to go to Garden for a fun Center. It's strange that the free market in Dodge doesn't bring in a good fun center or skating rink. I had a lot of fun at those places when I was a kid. Now kids just sit home and watch TV or play video games. The best thing Dodge has is a movie theatre, and it's pricey.

| In truth, the Depot Theatre is really great and the Christmas show is starting on December 8. The show is Greetings. The local talent is great.

| Tomorrow night there is a wind concert at the college. The Dodge City High School winter musical is coming up and so is the college one I think. I went to a murder mystery play at the high school a couple of weeks ago. Tuesday night is $1 taco's at Peppercorns which is fun with a few friends if you don't mind the thick layer of smoke...(soon to be outlawed...lol). I have only been to the circle cinema thingy place once....it was during the summer and the lady wouldn't turn the air on and it was hot as hell in there...we ended leaving. You can also drive around Dodge and look at some of the Christmas lights on people's houses....some of them are rather interrrrrrrresting...lol. If all else fails, call me and we'll go to the "bee's for crappy service and a decent martini!

| I definatley support all the local activies, games concerts etc. I also make sure to let all guests know that on Tuesdays Peppercorns is where they need to be I send alot of people to Bad Habits, it seems they always get some sort of entertainment there because they don't return too quickly.

| If you are trying to get into Peppercorns on Tuesday night, you will need a "can opener"! As successfull as this is, I don't know why they don't do it on another night as well. Most of the time we end up going somewhere else, as there are no tables available. The Marchel Ranch has a good show, but don't know if they have winter shows or not. I know alot of "visitors" are intrigued with the old Western History. The CVB has some info on that I think, or check with Charlie Mead as he gives tours as our "pint sized" Marshall Chuckie!! ![]() |
