Pirates of the Carribean - world end?

Has it come to Dodge yet? Sorry don't even have the end or edge right..... hell the 3rd one.

Son took me to see this yesterday - awsome!........... I have just gotten into the whole Pirates thing and just really enjoyed the movie! Son didn't like it much - he said it jumped around too much but when the jumpin has Johnny Depp - who the hell cares?........... I thought it was fabulous and entertaining. Love the pirate action and for me.............. very little blood!! That's a good thing! Got the violence but the gore is pretty much minimal - as it should be. Nice clean killings - that's what I'm all about! LOL

I never really liked Johnny Depp but after sein Libertine I have come to a new appreciation for him. Wow what a movie! I'm not a current hollywood fan - I like the old 20's thru 50's hollywood. I sure do like Depp tho.

It's here, but I haven't seen it yet. Maybe on Mon. or Tues. afternoon. The first one was the best, the 2nd one wasn't as good as the first. Rottentomatoes.com rates the 3rd one under the Fresh mark at 48% Rotten.

Killed doesn't always mean dead in the Prates world! Mystery abounds!! I saw the beginning of the next one....................... at the end!! LOL

I never trust those ratings pages like rottentomatoes i'd rather formulate my own thoughts of the movie. Most of those pages have rated all the 3rd movies that have come out this year (like Shrek the 3rd, Spiderman 3, & Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) as bad movies and I rather enjoyed Shrek the 3rd and Spiderman 3 (haven't seen Pirates 3).

Shrek 3 should have been longer and actually had more plot. I liked the idea of the female characters kicking ass and then they just kinda let the males finish it for them.

Spidey 3 was ONLY ok. They could have done a lot more with the story.

I think rotten tomatoes is the most accurate at rating movies. I probably won't see Shrek 3 until its out on DVD. I agreed with them that Siderman 3 was only so-so, they actually gave it a 61% Fresh rating, (I thought they were being a little generous) and it was the worst of the 3 spidey movies. I'll let you know what I think of Pirates 3 later in the week after I see it.

Gee I never go to the movies - now ya'll gonna go analyze it with ratings and stuff. LOL

Well hope you like it but I'm buyin the DVD's of all of em - I am now officially a Pirates fan!

I took my son to see it Friday.. I liked it... I liked all the pirates movie..my son liked it to, he's only 4 lol but it still kept him entertained.
I like Johnny Depp too, I've enjoyed pretty much all the movies he's played in. He really gets into character.

I love special effects movies but I just don't go to the theater for some reason.. I don't rent them either... I will buy one on occasion...guess I will need to get the Pirates series tho ...Johnny is a hottie !!

Tell you how far behind I am...

I just watched Major League II on HBO last week.. flipping thru the channels...
and that has got to be one of the funniest movies ever...
I had no idea how old it was, even tho I did wonder how come Charlie looked so young....duhhhh.. movie came out in 1994..... Never cared for him or baseball....
but now I need to watch the first one ....
