| Final 2007 Legends Game I wasn't able to attend the final game today because I was on the Patriot Guard Poker Run to benefit Greensburg Patriot Guard members. Did we win? Somebody that went please make a post of the outcome. Thanks!     |

| The Legend were way up most of the game, and about let Salina come back and beat them. Salina was playing the 3rd game in 3 days, but seemed to get their legs under them the last quarter. I was going to leave early, but after what happened last game with Oklahoma at home, I went ahead and sit it out! DC plays again at Oklahoma tonite (actually a fill in game) as Oklahoma's opponent is one of the teams that folded. Then the tournament starts down there on Thursday. Which, the tournament seems to be the most f---ed up mess that I have ever seen. Dodge, Enid, and Salina in one pool. Brooklyn and Gary in the other pool. After "round robin" play?????? the two top teams will play for the championship??? Whoever set that cluster up, should be shot!! It makes alot more sense to have a four team bracket, with the 4th and 5th place team playing first to see who advances to the bracket. Haven't we seen enough games between us and Oklahoma/Kansas for one year?? If something doesn't happen to secure a different league next year, and not the USBL, then I predict the whole thing is going down the crapper! By the way, I thought the way the Legend "show" was set up this year, was the worse one we have ever had. Not a very good way to build attendance. |

| I thought the talent on the team was high quality as usual. They don't hire just 1 superstar, they hire many good players who step up at different times. The USBL is dead, just not buried yet. Will be interesting to see what league we join or start up next year. I hear they are courting more small towns to get a more midwestern league (cheaper travel). The marshall was some teenager with no enthusiasm. Bring back Chris Pyle! He was the best Marshall Hoops. The cow leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe the kid in the Marshall outfit switched to being the cow? They were down to 4 Legends girls last night. And the halftime entertainment has been sad all year. Where were the guest mascots? The Lakers girls? |

| EXCUSE ME FOR NOT MAKING MYSELF CLEAR ON "THEY WON BY ONE POINT". When I said "They" meaning the Legend's. (Title of post was Final 2007 Legends Game & in my "mind's eye" They=Legends) Didn't mean for you get all riled up.
