all for fun?? :(

Went to All for fun the other day with the kids. Took three cousins with them. 90.00 to get in? For what? mini golf and go carts. Most of the games inside were broken and out of order. How long will the city keep this open? They are surely operating at a loss.

Here are a few of my ides on how to make this work.

What are we trying to sell at all for fun? Fun Doesn't matter if you have 10 people on the property or 100, your selling time. you still have to staff and power all the machines desks and go carts. Cut the price to 5.00 for 2 hours. Fill the place up. as I said it doesn't matter if you have 10 people or 100 people on the place it will still cost the same to operate. The money making at these places seems to be the food and drink. If you don't get people into the park you can't sell them anything! Get the games fixed and working. Think about something else in place of Ball-o-city, How about Laser tag? could work.

You have to get people into the park to make it worth keeping it open. Lets make this work for the kids.

Very good idea's. Those games would make a lot more money if they worked. Having a game sitting there non operational should be a crime. How can they make money if the stuff doesn't work. That's a very poor way to run a business.

Who is the person acutally in charge of the All 4 fun. Did the City hire someone special or just some the nobody's within the city. It is an older person or younger. I think having some one young help running it would possible give the city some new ideas. But you would have to get through the old dogs heads the new ideas (not you lunker) The people they have running the city now would not know a good idea if it slapped them in the face.

Those are the same people who have ran it for a long time no matter who the puppet was at the top.

I think some batting cages, a climbing wall, and a better go kart track would be great improvements at All 4 Fun.

I thought the city bought it off the owners so the city could make money - not so the city could pile more money into it...................... I don't know - but it seems to me at one point more than me commented on what a sweet deal it must be to have a business that's not doing well then have the city come buy you out of your bad business dealings................. It was flopping when the city bought it and it still is not doing well from what's posted. Again - your money invested for the benefit of one................ BTW - who owned that?........

I know I was pretty miffed I had my son all excited about playing golf and riding go-karts so we came to town 20 miles one way, at 1:00 when they used to open apparentlly that changed August 1! So I had to break my boys heart when I said we couldn't play that day and this was durring DC Days I thought if I were to be open at 1:00 that would be the time to do it!
It'll be a long while before I go back!

We went there a few weekends ago- way too expensive 14.00 for a two hour pass. And here's what you get:
Ballocity (stupid for older kids),
Go Carts (2-seaters are broken down)
Golfing (not bad, but not worth 14.00)


Went to Garden two weekends ago...12.50 got us a two hour pass for the following:

Skating (can't do that in Dodge!)
Indoor Bumper cars (very cool)
Go-Carts
Golf
Laser tag is gone, they took it out because they couldn't keep the computers running.

Still, Garden is a better deal, even with the drive. We took the RV down and had 15 people with us.

All 4 fun has too many employees (teenagers). I usually see 5 or 6 just hanging around goofing off and talking to each other. I had to holler to get helped.

The "cart-Nazi's" yell at you whenever you bump another go cart. With 8-10 carts competing around such a small track, there's going to be some bumping...the carts have guard rails around them..it's no big deal. Personally, at 40 years old, I take offense at some 15 year old screaming at me and issuing me warnings for bumping into another cart.

I was "removed" from the track by a 15 year old in OKC at Celebration Station. The kid blew the whistle on me 3 times and told me I was banned from riding the rest of the day...lol. Ya gotta bump the carts.."rubbing is racing"!
