Is anyone else watching this show?

I have a relative that I would love to get on there, but she just isn't motivated to lose weight. It's so sad when people let themselves go that far. It's even more unfortunate that the children of those people are learning their habits.

I'm rooting for the blue team with the oldest contestant in Biggest Loser history! At 62, Jerry is proving himself to be a "big" threat!

Not everyone that is FAT is lazy. Fat is another discrimination. No one grows up wanting to be fat. It is not always food that makes you fat either. Note my signature line.

Well, the fact that she is 5'4" and 250 lbs puts her in the category of obese, and that poses serious risks to her health! I love my sister very much and it saddens me to see her in this condition with the mentality that it won't catch up to her! I know she doesn't want to be "Fat" as YOU called it, but she has no intentions to change her eating and life habits to lengthen her life! Also, she has two young children. Her daughter is 5 years old and is currently wearing a size 12 in girls' clothing! She can also fit some of the clothes that I donated to another sister from High School! Now, if you think that she isn't learning those habits from her mother, you are being very ignorant to the facts! She is going to have serious health problems in the future (her and her daughter). Something will eventually give, whether it be her health, or her mindset, is up to her!

And may I add something else? As someone who's been where your sister is, you're probably doing more harm than good by nagging, regardless of your intentions. If you really want to help her, lay off. Be a good example. Don't shove the fact that she's overweight down her throat. Love her and accept her the way she is.

A 5 year old wearing a size 12? That's ridiculous. Do they not have a family doctor? I'm surprised they haven't been turned in to social services. Another incident of people NOT deserving to be parents deciding to breed only to have the kids be abused. Making your 5 year fat enough to wear a size 12 IS child abuse and you can't convince me otherwise.

Never do I EVER nag her. I'm not sure where you came up with that idea! I just randomly mentioned the show and asked if she watched it. She said that it makes her depressed so she doesn't watch it. I do mention her weight occasionally, but that is only when she asks me if something makes her look "fat" (clothing) or if she complains about sore knees or ankles. I love my sister more than any other member of my family so YOU lay off, k?

The problem with overweight people is that they think they can eat a salad to help the situation, but the salad they eat contains fried chicken, chunks of cheese, and it is smothered with dressing. That's probably worse than anything else they would have eaten!
