I hear the land just north of Gibson's was bought to build a new Wendy's. With double drive thru even.

I have heard rumors several times that Geist was going to build a McD up North, so that he could have it open while the other store is getting rebuilt, but so far it just seems to be a rumor.

I've been here for about a year now, and it is so difficult to find good help here. In all my years, I've never had so much trouble with people who just don't show up for work or call in sick like it's nothing.

Might have to start advertising for help outside of Dodge. Places like Cimarron, Minneola, Spearville, where most of the kids are raised with good values still. Might have to pay just a little bit extra to cover the trip from the home to work...

Service is what makes or breaks the place. I could have decent food with great service and be very happy. If I have SUPER food and crappy service then I won't go back for awhile. Service should be a premium.

Sad but true. A lot of locals I know have moved to towns nearby hoping to raise their kids in a better community. What I don't understand is some of these people are partly responsible for the situation we have.

I'll be the first to admit I have some real dislike of our schools and the way they *cough* teach kids now days. Freakin liberals wasting space if you ask me. But it's not just the school systems fault but parents as well. The generation of parents say "I don't want the schools teaching morals to my kids I'll do that at home." Well thats all find and dandy for those who do teach morals at home, but what about the other 95%?

So because a few parents, who by the way got their daily dose of morals from school and turned out fine, now feel it's not the schools place to moralize their kids we all suffer. So we have generations of kids who unless their parents were responsible enough to teach them right from wrong have no concept of right or wrong.

Now families are moving to smaller towns where the schools, and the community, still feel it's everyone responsibility to help their kids.

Army I believe that you put down others because you are miserable with yourself so much. I do not think NC lets their clients work there anymore.

I'm definitely miserable with myself....I don't know how I get out of bed in the morning and go to work I'm so miserable. Actually I don't like putting anything down I just call it like I see it. If I see something good I say something good. I left a compliment to my waiter the other day at Applebees. I'm just stuck in a place where there seems to be more bad than good. The only way that can change is if people bring the bad to the attention of those that can fix it.
