That was a long time ago, I already had a family of my own. This was a brother from my moms 2nd family. Matter of fact he was born 6 mo before my 1st child ... So at 16, when he died , I had a 16 year old daughter.

He was kind, sweet, polite, and smart. He had already won several trophy"s in school for public speaking and debate. I am sorry to say that I wasn't around him, but we talked on phone, wrote letters.

We had just returned stateside from Okinawa, when I got the phone call. They had to have the service in the HS gym, there were so many people.
The fact that he took his own life at such a young age, and that no one in the family had a clue that this child was suffering. He just didn't display any sort of depression or nothing. Just came home from school, went to the basement, turned on his music, like he did everyday. Mom was in kitchen getting supper ready. Eight year old brother went downstairs, and then back up stairs, said Michael is in the bathroom with the door locked and wont answer me. Anyway ...this went on for a while and mom sent my stepdad down to check on him. No answer. So he kicked the door in and there he was ....with a belt, hanging on shower rod. (when they had the house built they had the galvanized rod fixed into the concrete) They said that he had fixed the belt so the whatchacallit that you put in the belt holes, had pierced him where the skull meets the spine.....

We as a family tried to figure out WHY...WHY ...WHY. His parents took it to their grave.I don't think about it anymore and its ok to talk about it.

I of course wondered if he hadn't tried that sexual asphyxiation thingy, but I dismissed that because he had placed that belt buckle so precisely.
Anywho during the whole ordeal that the family went through. I had many days that I thought " You chicken shit little bastard" I did love him tho.

I can deal with that.

Got a relationship, but he is out of town right now.
My daughter takes Wellbutrin, she has tried them all. She said this doesn't effect your Libido and she never gets tired like she used to.

My libido is doing fine. Miss him, he will probably be gone for a month, and will be on antidepressants when he gets back. I sort of let go on one of my criteria (non-drinker) when I saw all the others realized in him. Raised Catholic, IQ 150+, Louisiana Cajun, sensitive, never married.
