| It's gonna stay an A&W. Plans are to put in a drive thru window, one, possible two new driveways, and fix up the dining area.

| If I remember correctly, one of the reasons they had so many problems (never mind their high prices) was the entrance. I thought the city peoples determine how many private drives can exist within a certain area and A&W was only allowed to put one in, thus causing the majority of their traffic flow problems. Between Soule and Comanche, there are I believe 8 private drives and one actual street on the west side and I think this is the most they will allow in that particular stretch of roadway. |

| Did anyone eat there? I did. It SUCKED! I lived here when the A&W was on west wyatt earp about where "mail or more" is and that food was excellent. It sure was preffered over sonic...back then. When our A&W opened and I finally made it in..."long lines at first" I felt insulted when the girl brought out my extra long coney and the sad excuse for onion rings, needless to say I never went back. And the rings are what made them famous. I visited with John Hawkins,an old classmate of mine,"83". last week and he said the failure was in large part due to poor management. I never told him how delicious my first meal was ![]() |

| Their biggest problems were the entrance, and speed. I went there once, ordered only 3 drinks, and waited for at least 10 minutes. I don't know how the city has influenced the entrance part, but he's supposed to be getting a second one, and if things work out with Wal Mart, they'll be getting a third, going into walmarts parking lot. They've bought a new grill, to speed up grill times. Only time will tell, but I'd be willing to go back, at least once.

| The menu that they had, was nothing like the menus that I remember from any other A&W anywhere! And I too thought the food sucked. I liked the Root Beer, but that was about the size of it! Hope this new owner goes back to the "old time" menu-----Poppa, Momma, Baby--------etc----- root ![]() |

| I wish they WOULD open a Sonic on the north end of town. I hate driving all the way down to Wyatt Earp to get my Sonic fix!!!! ![]()
