    Rip Butch Trent

    Read in the paper tonight that a friend of almost 40 years has passed away.
    Butch Trent. His friendly face will be greatly missed around Dodge City.

    I read that in the paper too, he lived a few blocks down from us, did not know him but knew 2 of his daughters.. RIP Butch, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

    Services are to be held at Burkhart-Ziegler 2pm on Wednesday. Attendees are to be dressed casual or favorite sports team gear.

    What a cool way to celebrate someone's life! I hope it catches on. I did not know Butch personally, but he's a hellovaguy to have a party at his wake!
