| I don’t know JR, there’s some stuff I’d like to forget and can’t. ![]() It’s been at least 25 years since I was up close and personal with those rigs, but something that unique is hard to forget. The stagecoach was built on an International Scout chassis and the inside had a build in TV/VCR. Those red boxes on top were to cover the AC units. It was used in parades and other promotional events to throw candy to the crowds. The trailer was set up with the front half as a lounge with a couch, refrigerator and microwave powered by a generator mounted under the trailer frame. The back half is where the stagecoach was carried. There are a few more pictures of Jolly Rancher trucks here; http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/bullnose_jr.htm The trailers were painted with reproductions of western art that the company owner owned and the rumor on the web page is “legend has it they were the inspiration for the trailer in Smokey and the Bandit.”
