Looking for middle school/junior high info

Got any good links to historical information about the Middle School/Junior High?

In particular I'm looking for the date it was built and if possible some old pictures.

How about this.

What years did you attend the Junior High?

I know I was there in the late 60's(68-69)

I'm trying to determine my chances of finding silver coins on the playground to the west.

I served time there in the mid 60’s.

Were the Weber twins still teaching math when you were there?

Hum Weber doesn't sound familiar.

I do remember Mr Luptin(sp) Mr Deyo(sp) Mr Preston(jungle bob) and the shop teacher we all called Skifoot that loved to give swats.

Nunamaker(sp)?

Almost all liked to give swats. Those paddles were like some kind of trophy were there seemed to be a friendly competition with other teachers for the best paddle design.

Preston had a super sharp old Crown Victoria that would swell a lump in your Ford heart Detector. It was red and white, but I can't remember if it had the glass top. I only saw it once, it wasn't his daily driver.

SkiFoot was Mr. Youse. I believe Clarence was his first name.

I was in Jr High from 86-89 and Bob Preston was my PE teacher also, and he still wore that stupid hat. I always thought that he would still be there after I had passed on and been buried, but I worked with his nephew (the resemblance is striking) at a job here in Wichita last summer and he told me that he is no longer teaching.
