I think you can become a citizen by marriage, but there still all kinds of rules and hoops that have to be met. You have to stay married for a certain amount of time, etc....

Unless certain requirements are met, a marriage to a foreigner is called a "marriage of convenience" and residency usually is denied.

Why don't we use this same logic for child birthing by foreigners on US soil? Call it a "birth of convenience" and deny citizenship to the child unless and until the mother becomes a tax paying and responsible naturalized US citizen.

The same rules should apply to all welfare rolls.

Right arm Lurker! And btw, for all of you that think the vote on ILLEGAL immigration in the senate was B.S., remember to vote for whoever runs (if any) against our dear senator Brownback. I have never voted against something or someone, but I will on this one.
