| That made my night...I dunno how we would have handled it here, but, the dude had presented lethal force by taking hostages and claiming he had a hand grenade...therefore, officers also would be authorized to use lethal force to stop him. Anyway, it gave me a good chuckle...I do think that maybe we would come up with something more creative and less harmful. How about only puting about 1/10 of a gallon of gas in the tank? Evacuate the area and set up a perimeter with roadblocks? I would hate to write that "Dear Chief" letter in the morning tho... |

| Do we know that the unmarked car was involved in the chase? And the cycle rider didn't have a helmet. So, it has to be his own doing. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
