| Oh, I forgot about some of the concerts that I saw at the fair. Seals & Crofts, Kansas, Evanescance. I kinda wanna say Chicago, did they play at the Kansas State Fair?? Also, I was lucky enough to see Stevie Ray Vaughn at Fiddler's Green in Denver about a month before he died. He was in a concert tour with Joe Cocker.

| First of all, a little introduction for myself. I'm Adam the bassist for the band in the parade, Outside The Circle. For the record, not a single member of the band has been playing for more than 4 years, excluding Gator. Yes we do have some other musical background, but all of us started playing the instrument we use in the band just 4 years ago. Secondly, we DO NOT PLAY THRASH METAL!!! For those of you so uncultured to not realize that there are actually different types of metal, we are not anything near the crap refered to as Thrash. Our music is more dynamic and complex than 90% of the bubble gum bullshit on the radio today. The problem being that most of you hear harsh vocals and automatically judge the entire band. I challange anyone in Dodge to play the music we do. Bring your silvertone and show us what you've got. I bet NO ONE can. As far as "Fancy" equipment, everything that we have, we have busted our asses to pay for all on our own. This is our trade, why shouldn't we use good equipment? You dont see many people hauling hobby stocks to nascar races. It takes quality equipment to do whats needed to be successful in todays music industry. You trash on us for not being Vai or Van Halen, well you write something as remarkable as the stuff they pioneered. You can't or you wouldn't be in Dodge City right now. You know this is exactly why the Dodge City music scene doesn't exist anymore. The bands that come out of this area leave. We can pack a house in wichita any saturday night, so thats why we dont bother with this unappreciative little town. We weren't trying to get known by doing the parade, we were handing out flyers for a memorial show for a fallen musician in our community. Those who need to know us here already do. They support us and come to our shows and know who we are. Also We had a full front page story in the globe last year. We have been asked by the city to play at arts in the park for the last three years, with two shows this year. We played at the opening of the skate park. But I'm really unsure why since we have "no talent". As for the tracks on our page, we did those recordings our selves without going to a studio, because its all we could afford. We are a live band, so good live equipment has been our priority. On another note, lets think of how many bands out there have amazing albums, but at live shows couldn't deliver. I would judge bands on live shows over recodings that can be manipulated any day. To those of you that truely have given us a chance and have defended us in here, we are very greatfull. We look forward to playin shows for you in the future. To the rest of you, I'm sorry we're not your cup of tea. Good Day, Adam OTC Bassist |

By the way sorry if I offended you by using the term "Thrash Metal" but it was not meant in a bad way. And welcome to the boards.
