OK OK I give up!

I'm a decent cook, I'm just too damn lazy to do it. And I'm tired when I get home. I'm not a happy driver - driving makes me sleepy. There's an hour between the office and here. Last night it was more like an hour and a half. When I cook, I'm like you, LG - I just don't take the time very often. My brain is fried by the time I get home. AND my mom used to kick our butts up between our shoulders, too, if we snacked (pieced) before meals. I think my older brother would say kicked our 'a$$' up between our shoulders so far we had to take off our shirts to s__t and part our hair to f__t. My, times have changed. Can't even tease your kids with that punishment or they'll run to the authorities.

Hubby ordered a 25' fresh turkey (not frozen) for Thanksgiving - and it's just the two of us and one of his kids. Anybody want to join us? I really can cook, I just don't like to!

It's getting warmer in here! All the way up to 65 now! I'm lovin' it!!!

My buddy said they didn’t need a beer cooler, they just set it on the concrete floor of the lower level and it was plenty cold.

KCM, your husband ordered a "25' turkey"?!? A 25 "foot" turkey is pretty damn BIG~~~~~ I bet it could keep you warm!!

So what you're saying is I should throw him out and keep the turkey? Really my only problem with that is that I DO get hungry from time to time. The turkey would be gone in probably 6 months, then I'd be gettin' cold again. Then I'd have to do that night life thing again to find another. Just to keep warm. Is it worth it? Prolly not.

When I found out how big the damn thing was, I had to measure the oven to make sure it would be big enough! I can see it now, cooking half the turkey one day and the other half the next day.

I always thought the ' was a pound symbol, too. Hmmmm. Now I'll have to go look that up.

OH, you're right, Lurker. Now I remember. They taught us that in cooking class. now you know why I flunked!
