I heard Algore's interview on NPR where he's promoting his global warming crusade err; book. The interviewer asked him what he had personally done...

Energy efficient light bulbs.
Hybrid car.
Sensors to turn off the lights in an empty room.

Oh, and "everything" mentioned in his book. yeah, right

Last year they blamed all the bad hurricanes on global warming. Using that logic, global warming must not be a problem anymore because I never saw any bad hurricanes in the news this hurricane season.

The El Nino or El Nina shifted. I been listen to the hurricaine predictors (in colorado mind ya) redo thier count. They have redone it twice already. Luck has been with us! The year we finally get all the damn trees cut and buy a generator....... we have nothing. That's a good thing tho. I could use a tropical storm day at work..... just a little blow.......an incliment weather day or so would be nice.

Al Gore is a NUT JOB. He's just looking for another big thing since he invented the internet...lol. The people in his own state didn't want him...what makes him think anyone else does?

You all can laugh all ya want, but as a scientist, I do believe that global warming is occurring. I have done some studies on the Polar Ice Caps, and in Alaskan Glacial Valleys, and they are being eliminated at an alarming rate. Anybody remember how we used to have snow "up the rear end" here in Western Kansas?? How long has it been since we have had any like that out here?? Oh well, by the time we turn into a desert, I will be with the 700 Virgins!!!

As a scientist then you should study beyone what you remember...lol. I also remember having Christmas's with no snow and playing outside in nice weather. Go back 100, maybe 200, maybe 500 years and measure the weather patterns.

So, if you have a "degree" Army, how come you are not a commissioned officer?? And you are not from here, so how can you say what the Winters used to be like? Weather patterns 500 years ago cannot be compared to todays, simply because they did not have the technology back then that we have today. By the way, have you been to the Alaskan Territory or to the Poles??
