Ya know...I haven't said much on this subject but Tee is donating a lot of his extra time to help and get the food rounded up. I have the utmost confidence he will do his absolute BEST to not allow the food to go to someone it wasn't intended for but he can't gurantee that one or two families that are here illegally benefit from our givings. But you know what......so what. The overall good intent of what Tee and the Dodge Board is doing is what counts and if the food goes to a couple of illegal families at the holidays, so be it. They are people too. The holidays are a time to help each other. I just look at the overall intent of what we are doing. We pay taxes everyday to fund schools (for the illegals kids too). People rush to the store to buy meat made at excel..by illegals. People patronize stores that hire illegals......Tee has volunteered a LOT of his time to work on this. He's doing the best job he can...what more can you ask? I just say. THANKS TEE!

I'm just excited that I got to be a part of it - I know my dollar is goin to help some well deserving folks. I don't even have that gauruntee when i give to Sally............I couldn't ask for more and shifted my dollar to ya'll this year. I'm happy bout it. Tee always does so much behind the curtain that alot of us never see. Good thing he works on a flexable schedule - there wouldn't be enough hours in the day for all of the DB bidding he does!!....... Thanks TEE and Thanks AOO for commin up with the idea! I know you been doin some runnin on your own - I look at it this way - keeps ya outta the arcade!!!! LOL

He must have more time than we realized. I PM'd an offer to help deliver on Sat. I got no response. Then I PM'd Army the following on Sunday, I got his response today, so I figured my PM section is working.

I'm not sure if I am or not. If he wants my help I'll be glad to give it and it would be great to have you along. I like it that you stuck to your guns on the issue and how you feel. Everyone doesn't agree with how you feel but the important thing is you didn't cave in. More people should have ur stance on illegal immigration. Let me know if you hear anything because I would be glad to help also.


I forwarded that PM to Tee today showing that Army and I both would help if needed. I still have had no response.

I have taken the day off on Wed. I have three helpers already (two from this board and my little brother is helping)

I think were good- I can get everything into my wagon and get it delivered on Wed.

I appreciate your offer to help.

Also, The money has been paid for the goods and everything is a go. I will have some pictures of us in action but they will not include any faces of people receiveng the gifts. We have to respect the dignity and humility of these folks. We've had to go through a release process for those names submitted through SRS/Crisis Center due to the privacy laws and such, so I will have to deliver those.
