I don't think we'll have a problem getting enough families for the list.

I have asked Father Dennis Z. to come up with a few names.

I have called and talked to Isaac Sanchez- he works with meals on wheels and the Senior Citizen coalition- he will get us a few names.

Then there's Crisis Center, They are going to submit a few.

SRS will submit a few.

I have talked with the people at the hi-rise, but they are being taken care of (edit) We now have one hi-rise recipient, submitted by the Manna House.<EDIT- p Hi-Rise South one have now we submission.<>

St Francis Center will come up with a few names.

Father Ted @ Catholic Church will submit a few names.

The Manna House has submitted some names

I think we will have no problem comming up with enough needy families in Dodge City. Of course any other ideas are welcomed.

I was not able to donate money so I would really like to donate my time of delivering and if needed preparing the food. I am off the 22nd so I will have all day long to do what needs to be done. Just throw me some stuff to do and I am willing to do it.

I would also like to do something extra special for the elderly couple that this might be their last Thanksgiving together. I don't know what I can do for I do not know them but anything suggested will be helpful. I am heart broken over all the ones listed but I am totally heart broken thinking this couple may never spend another Holiday together due to death. So anything I can do please let me know. Thank you this is very cool of the whole board to do this for people in their time of need.

How about some who has a digital camera, take a nice picture of the happy couple and give them the print?

I am sure that any help would be appreciated, Granny. If nobody wants ya, you can make me a pie, and give me a back rub!! Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Things to do list:

Make a pie for Made in the USA and check out his back for lots and lots and lots of hair before doing the back rub (might have to buy lots and lots and lots of wax for his back). LOL

Yes I thought the same thing about the picture part but well since I do not know them I do not know if that is possible.

I just feel very heart broke knowing this elderly couple might not get to see Christmas together ever again. I know you have to grow old and pass on but still it hurts and that hurt never goes away. WHEWWWWW what a scary thought.
