| Adopt a Family Thanksgiving was a success!! This is just an update to all the members on Dodgeboard. The Thanksgiving Dinner program was a huge success!! We just finished all the deliveries about 10 minutes ago. We were able to reach 30 families. While we exceeded our goal, Dillon's threw in quite a bunch of extra food for each dinner and even about 5 extra dinners. We had 10 un-notified families on our standby list so this helped to reach two of those. Our thanks to Moe at North Dillon's and to Dillon's for their generosity. We were surprised to find out when we arrived at Dillon's that someone had tipped off the press. KUPK-TV filmed us loading up and asked if they could ride around with us for awhile. While most families were understandably camera shy, one woman did agree to be filmed. This will be the news feature on KAKE & KUPK-TV at 6:00 pm tonight and then again on Thanksgiving morning. We received so many great comments. People welcomed us into there homes and many shared stories with us about what their plans for Thanksgiving were before they knew we would be bringing them food. One person said they were going to have hotdogs. Another woman said she was planning on making hamburger helper. Another family said they were just going to have cereal. All the comments were very heartwarming. I had to fight back the tears after visiting one elderly couple where I knew the husband was most likely spending his last Thanksgiving on this earth. You could see tears in his eyes as we showed up at the door. He said "you are like angels to help us like this. This is a blessing for us." It was truly rewarding to see the smiles on their face as I left. We estimate that since we were able to reach 30 families and the dinners would feed more than 8 people, that we easily reached 240 people this Thanksgiving. I just want to thank all of the members of this board. I am very honored to be a part of the good things you all do and I am humbled to see how, through the collaborative efforts and generosity of the members, we have truly made a difference in our town of Dodge City. A big thanks also to Terri Trent for helping us with names and helping with the deliveries, and to Army_of_One for starting the movement. You all make me very proud to be a Dodgecitian and fellow Dodgeboard member. Picture One: Bryce (Tim's little brother) stands next to the first load. One more load to follow. Picture Two: Aidan (Son of Kerry and Terri Trent) loads the first box Picture Three: Tim is sorting the boxes between the two vans to make them all fit. Picture Four: Aidan is cheering us on Picture Five: Terri Trent is helping to sort and label the boxes

| I must have mentioned Dodgeboard.com 100 times in the interview but the only mention the board got was a 2 second name appearence in small print on one slide. Oh well, we did it for the families, not for the board. It was a good segmant and lots of fun. I am up for it again at next year.

| Final Accounting Attached is the receipt so you can all see a final accounting of the money collected and spent. A couple of these were split into smaller dinners to accomodate the families on the list and the size of the families, then Dillons threw in a few and then credited the tax. Dillons donated 100.00 and were 55.00 short but Dillons gave that to us as well. Then they threw in a bunch of extra stuff into the meals.
