It's always the first snow I miss the most...... fond memories....... special times...... long gone..... but never forgotten!

| Technical Details The snow uses a 4kb java script with a 1kb gif. It shouldn't consume any noticeable bandwidth even with dialup, especially since it downloads it only once, then caches it. There is no streaming involved with the script or graphics. It does however utilize some taxing video features to animate on the screen. I remember Lurker saying his computer was a doG (pardon the pun). Most likely he may be experiencing some shuttering in the snow, which may appear to be a bandwidth issue, but is more likely a rendering issue, related to an overtaxed video system or CPU. |
