| Right on Dustin. I’m not a big Bible thumper either but it’s about respect and tolerance for the beliefs of others. Ever notice how some of the folks making the most noise about tolerance are the most intolerant folks you ever saw?

| Right if they put all that energy into things that mattered in this country instead of using it to complain because somebody else's religion got in the way of them living their life it would be a much better place or at least a start.

| I was raised with a very strong religious upbringing, but have tempered somewhat with age.... Although I don't mind (and even appreciate) the symbols of Christianity at the holidays, I have little tolerance for people that knock on my door or approach me in public spaces with religious material. It's a personal issue with me. I have my beliefs and I will celebrate them how I choose. If you choose to follow me (or not) in that pursuit, it's not going to make or break my day. But please don't stand in my way. Everybody celebrate their religion how they please - I'm with Wordy in a way....just don't shove it under my nose. I really have a problem with those that are one-sided either way on this issue. It's NOT ok to banish religion from every aspect of everyone's lives. It's NOT ok to make everybody worship the same. That goes against the very grain of this country. Taliban, anybody?

| I totally agree... America= freedom of religion...and I really dont want anyone coming to my door trying to convert me to whatever theirs is...however I do respect them and always try to be kind to them ... Im speaking of J W's (oh shit...I have their initals....  ) I think they are the only ones that do come to your door too much..Some churches come to invite you to attend or leave invites on your door and if you dont go you never hear from them again..... and thats ok.... Im not offended by it... like KC...I was raised by church influence..and believe in J.C.which makes me a CHRISTian..however I dont do the organized religion thing......some find comfort in that .. but I dont... and I dont feel guilty for it.... that doesn't make me a bad person..... I dont ever try to push my way of thinking on anyone and I do believe that MOST.... CHRISTians....live and let live... Islam........ totally different story....
