Today I purchased a new washer and dryer. I ended up buying it at Fergusons' on Macartor road. I went to Sears initially and when I asked the guy if he could deliver today he gave me an apathetic, "I'm not sure"....and on top of the apathy....they charge $35.00. I got a decent deal at a local place and not only did they deliver for free today but they hooked it all up, ran a test on washer and dryer and filled out the warranty card for me. A+ to Fergusons!

That is surprising that they (Fergies) would do it without a delivery charge. I think most places charge for delivery. I used to work at Appliance Mart (about 20 yrs ago) and they usually give me a good deal but they still charge me for delivery from Garden- I think it's $30-$40.

I may have to check Fergies out.... I am needing a stove.

I have bought from Ferffies and from Bell Boys - both treated me like a queen..... I still have my washer and dryer - hell you coulda gone to use it if ya needed AOO - I really need to have that garage sale!! LOL

I will never do business with Bell Boys again. The wife is very hateful and unfriendly to customers.

I just bought a new washer from Fergies last month and they delivered it free of charge down to Minneola. The trasmission went out on my old one after 5 years of service. I called Bell boys they wanted almost the price of a new one to fix it plus $75.00 travel expense.

When I lived there, I liked Fergie's for price and service. My folks always shopped there, too. Bell Boys is a new name to me.

I do, but only because my mom worked there for many years. Steve and George Ferguson are two of the best people I have ever met, I met them when I was very young (when my mom went to work for them) and they always went out of their way to help us out. My dad became totally disabled when I was in third grade, and they never had any problem letting my mom take off to look after him if Arrowhead West called. On top of that, I also played softball against Steve in the city Church League, and I can say that he was a great sport on the field also.
