| I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't know him but I ate at El Leon's many times and enjoyed visiting with his wife and others while there.

| R.I.P ..... Pete Thank you for the opportunities you gave me in the pro fight game 26 years ago. Thank you for being a great corner man and for talking me into a few wins while money on the line, when I was ready to physically give up (especially against Mike (tough bastard) Keitel). (I will never forget your words of encouragement and having faith I could do more than I thought I could. THANKS PETE |

| I fought Mike Twice. The first go round '82 he broke my nose in the fourth with just seconds to go in the fight. 4 x 3 min rounds which Perez stopped. I was gushing blood at the time and I think they were scared I was really hurt. Me "I aint got time to bleed" . The second time we met '83, they stopped the fight in the 4th when I opened a bad cut on his eye. I believe we both still carry battle marks from our meetings. Keep in mind that I was in my prime playing baseball at DCCC mike was a former pro and came out of retirement to fight again. I got lucky both times he didn't kill me lol. Pete along with Bill Cunningham and Mark Crane as my trainers, it was worthy of Gladitorial status, hehe There used to be picture with Pete Falcon strapping a championship belt around me at the old Duffy's years ago. That was a long time ago. Black eyes courtesy of Mike. |

| I have been reading this with great interest - because I didn't know Mr Falcon. I did altho know someone he probably knew that also just passed this earth. I will throw this out incase anyone knew him as well. He used to box Golden gloves in Garden city and threw a few street punches in Dodge. He lived hard but died in peace, he is with his mom now which is where he has wanted to be since 98. His son has his dad's golden glove trophy - that's how we like to remember him. Ross Haunschild (age 53) passed on 12/26/06 in Hanford California. RIP ........................ thanks I feel better now.
