Wow! Has any other country folk noticed the amount of crews that have been scouring the contryside fixing downed lines and poles? They have been working 16-18 hour days. They come in and leave in convoys! Great job boys and girls! Thanks for getting our electricity back on.

Lot's of crews in here from all over. I would like to add my THANK YOU, also!! You don't realize how much you depend on electricity, until you don't have it!

Yeah but the candle light is so nice............ doesn't keep ya very warm and all the gas funaces in the world won't heat ya up without the fan motor blowin!!................. I remember when I was bout 18 freshly married and didn't pay the light bill cause we didnt have the money - lived bout 2 weeks on candles, did laundry by hand and enjoyed every minute of it. Thought it was kinda sad when the lights came back on......... but the igloo wasn't a very good icebox and I was young and dumb then........... bring on the convoys when the lights go out now........ won't be from me not payin the bill that's for sure.................... glad to hear the repair is goin quickly - there are some places in the south that hasn't had electricity since Katrina.......... LOL......... course ain't never gonna be houses there agian either.........
