| things to be thankful for With Thanksgiving being here I thought I would jot down a few things I am thankful for. I am thankful for: The Ford motor company.......for the '65 Mustang. It was a total chick magnet and I am glad my father owned one. (I was born in '66, you connect the dots)  My first wife.......for giving me two of the greatest children a man could ever ask for.  My second wife.............for making me appreciate my first wife. She also made me thankful for the vasectomy I had while with the first wife.  The internet.......for getting me to meet my current significant other. Without her my life would be very empty.  I am sure I could come up with many, many more but I am tired. I know I am thankful for being able to live where I am able to post these things, among others, with the freedom I have. I thank those who fought for me to have this freedom, and I thank those who continue to fight for them. I am thankful for those who disagree with me even. If we all agreed nothing would ever get done. May each and everyone of you, your families, your friends, enjoy this holiday and if nothing else....be thankful to be alive. If you were dead, well, you wouldn't be reading this anyway so you wouldn't be thankful of to much then.

| Geessshhhh........Dutchman........you are such a sweetie - What a nice way to put things........ I'm grateful for just bein able to be grateful - so many are in such turmoil with so many types of distraction and chaos. I'm grateful for the peace in my life and those that make sure is stays peaceful. The times I think - gee I'm so boring....... I look around and realize that boring is safe and secure and if I weren't boring I wouldn't have what I have - I'd probably be dead or be recovering from multiple heart attacks....... I Like this easy goin life life.....

| I'm thankful that my family will be together for the day. Doesn't happen often. I'm also very thankful for the fact that wrinkles don't hurt. That's a big one for me.

| I'm thankful that most of my family has realized that if there are too many of us together at the same time there's a felony in progress. The rest of us play nice.

| I am glad I have a good job, a house, and good health. I am glad for my family, brothers and nephews, and a grandmother who is stillhealthy and vivacious. I am happy for this board and and the cool members and most of all, I am happy that vegan has chosen not to join us. Ok, maybe that was mean... But it has been awful peaceful without him to argue and nitpick everything that is said by everybody.  |
