I had an interesting call today from a telemarketer wanting to speak Spanish because he didn't speak fluent English. When I objected, he spoke perfectly good English when the f-word came from his mouth.

I ask them if they would be interested in upgrading their job and benefits and joining the military..OR I tell them SURE I'm very interested and to hold on one second then I sit the phone down and continue doing what I was doing.

the racist thing was a joke, i said it only cause she said someone would call her racist.

with the telemarketers just pull a seinfeld. "Hello... ya i'm kind of busy right now... just give me your home phone and i'll call you later on tonight....oh you don't want me to call you at home...now you know how i feel."

I used to be a telemarkerter in CO... when people wanted to be not so nice to me I would schedule a few more callbacks for that day just tell them to take you off the calling list. If they call you again they can get in serious trouble. Some guy told me to shove a pencil in my ear, and I scheduled 10 more calls to him for that day. They can call you as often as they want until you tell them to take you off the calling list.

I have a pharmacy (online) that uses about 10 agencies - I swear to you they call at least once a day if not 2 times and this has been going on for a year........ I told them i moved........... it's a real friggin nightmare!........... they are all folks with an Indian accent......... they rattle off person info to whover answers then try to get whoever answers the phone to place an order........ I just wanna blow them up!!........ I tried to be nice, did the no call thing, even hung up on them, - next I'm gonna tell em i died.

So if you ever order anything online - don't give your real phone number!

To clarify my vote on the poll question:

I do not believe that white students should have a "white" club, but I also don't believe any other ethnic group should have such clubs, either. Not in school! Outside of school, knock yourself out!
