I thought the Golden Que was on 3rd & Wyatt Earp, too. The Blacksmith was in back of S Dillons - off Sunnyside - I spent a lot of time there. Older Brother spent a good bit of time at the Que.

My bad guys; I told you my mind was getting feeble. I did spend some time at the Golden Cue and yes you are right about the location. I racked my mind and the place I used to shoot snooker was the Blue Lounge. We were college kids at the time and we liked it because, since it was an older guys' hangout, the snooker table was usually available and the price was right. I think it was twenty five cents and a nickel for each additional shooter. We probably went there once a week and Teddy always checked our ID's.

The Blacksmith! Thats right, or something like that. My mom used to take me there when I was 5 or 6... maybe younger, anyway, anyone remember the bartender there?

Ummmm.....nope. Don't remember a whole lot about it. Was usually not in a great shape when I went there and left in an even worse shape - never driving, though....not me....huh uh. I remember that's the first place I heard the band "Kansas". That was before they became somebody - we bought their first album there. And that's about it - except the time my sister took me there and showed me how to play "Quarters". I don't remember that, either. I think I lost. Something funny musta happened - everybody laughs when I bring that up.....

I thought that the Blacksmith joint was owned by Tom Zachman, back in my roaming days.
