Its the Illinois river and the fish are Carp.... not any good unless you pressure cook them, they are just too bony.
Pressure cooked they remind me of canned salmon...Course I love Salmon patties .................................. yummy

I thought these were those fish they are trying to eleminate cause they are eating up the good fish. I saw a piece on these fish that are good for nothing but are killing off the other good fish. They fly into boats as well cause there are so damn many of them. Same fish???

I just remember my mother in law pressure cooking "carp" back in the day and thought maybe these were the same kind , only on crack....
