| Looking for good mechanic I'm looking for a good local mechanic to rebuild the 400 in my 77 Trans Am. Anyone had good experience with a local? Got an idea on what cost I'm looking at? If its too much I will just find an old Bonneville with a good 455 and use it.

| If you’re not picky about numbers matching get prices on rebuild short and long blocks as well as a new crate engine for comparison with the mechanic estimates.

| I think there is a mechanic in the Garden City area, I hear he does well with Holly Carbs and such! I think Tee or the Finney County Detention Center could help you get in touch with him! J/K I couldn't pass it up (Sorry Tee!)
