Opening day is the most important day of business and will either keep 'em comin', or send 'em away. It's all a matter of how long you really want to stay in business.

I went there today, basically cause it sounded good and there was only 1 car in the drive thru.
I had the chicken and fries (yum, yum) and had the order taken by an english speaking person and never messed up my order.

My only complaint was the chicken planks were a little smaller than I remember, but was very good.
I'll go back again!

But sometimes it is very difficult to find those "3 good workers"!
The old saying, "if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself", holds true most of the time in DC.

Although I rarely eat at the fast food joints - mostly because I have to drive almost 70 miles to get to one - when I do I always go inside. 1) I get a firsthand look at who's handling your food and 2)I don't waste fuel waiting in the drive-through line.

I remember a Chef once said to check the restrooms. Restrooms are easier to clean than kitchens and are seen by the patrons. If they ain’t keeping them clean it's likely the kitchen is a filthy mess.

Unhappy

If they are in the same group as KFC then they taught them how to mess up orders. I don't think I have had a correct order from KFC in years. I just keep yelling at them and getting a free meal. And even that is not what I order. Always leave at least one item out of my order. Oh well, I keep going back so I must like it.

Like an idiot I waited in the drive thru for 55 minutes 3 nights ago. Got all the way around to pickup order and tried to pay with a debit card. The girl took my card and came back a few minutes later and told me they cant take those right now. Never saw a sign saying cash only and I rarely carry more thant 2-3 dollars. Luckily wife had me covered. i estimated it was about 5-9 minutes per car that was in drive thru in front of me. Lack of planning and unskilled workers. I just told myself what I always do when i get mad at any fast food place.. what can you expect from people who are paid minimum wage.

You should expect them to do their freaking job just like their were making 30 bucks an hour. They are hired to do the job and paid accordingly.

I agree AoO. I can't remember one single job, and I've had a few in my 40 years of working, that I ever started that I felt was temporary. This may sound a bit naive, but every job I ever had I went into thinking this could be the last job I ever need. And that included carhopping at the Sonic.

Also, money was never an issue for me. I never refused to work somewhere because of pay. In fact when applying for a job and I was asked how much I need to start I often said Let me work for one pay period and you decide what I'm worth. If it's enough, I'll stay, if not I'll move on. I never once was disappointed in my starting pay.

I've always felt it was the employees responsibility to prove themselves first, not the employer.
