| Well I'm just lost - I got 232 - how come backpacks have 4 legs? That's just silly - this is what I cal teaching to the test.............. the damn answer is232 plus 2 legs for the bus driver - course my 5th grade was a long time ago............. LOL LOL

| girls each with 2 legs (7*2 = 14 legs) There are 7*7 = 49 backpacks Each basket has 7 cats so 49*7 = 343 cats 343 cats each with 4 legs = 1372 legs Each cat has 7 kittens, so 343*7=2401 kittens Each kitten has 4 legs, so 2401*4=9604 legs This means 14 + 1372 +9604 = 10990 total legs

| I thought it asked how many LEGS........... what's that got to do with back packs? 7 girls x 2 legs = 14 7 cats x 4 legs = 28 7 cats per cat with 4 legs = 196 All the legs = 238.................. I thought........... oh well who the hell cares anyhow? Most 5yo are smarter than me - but hey.............I get to vote so screw em.

| I understood that but I just didn't understand multiplying 7 back packs and girls with 4 legs............ oh well.......... I just didn't get the same number - never will - I don't think in new math terms....... it's all good tho............ the way I read it tho it just asked how many legs....... all these other numbers don't matter the way I saw it.
