| I know you two are hopefully being sarcastic.........sorry, lost the humor having had my dog poisoned. Call the PD and have them come check it out. The dogs are barking at SOMETHING. May be a cat, may be skunk, or might be a person not supposed to be there. Dogs do not bark to hear themselves, unlike some people.

That was my first thought too but I went out in my back yard, the alley, even looked into there back yard & there was nothing to be seen. I'm not really sure what was bugging them last night. I'm just very grateful that they finally calmed down for most of teh reamaining night

| Barking dogs can be annoying, but as has already been mentioned, I'd be more concerned as to why. Unless they just bark all the time. Just this morning one of my dogs was barking at something even why in the house. I normally let her out in the morning, to take care of business, but she started barking. I went outside and looked around in the direction she was barking, but saw nothing. I brought her in so as to not wake the neighbors, but she was still barking at something. I have no doubt something/someone was out there I just couldn't see anything. A barking dog also has a tendency to persuade prowlers to move on.

Yes they do, our neighbor used to have a dog that would bark at like 3am every morning to be in, she always went out right before they went to bed and ran the neighborhood and about 3am she would stand at the front door and just bark and bark and bark. Drove me crazy! Most of the time they were quick to get up and let her in but some nights they slept through her so she would bark for hours before she would shut up! |
