| Mesquite is sweet - I mix hickory and mesquite - I smoke anything that is slow enough to put in the smoker!!

| That doesn't sound too bad, Thanks. I thought humus was that "white, jellied, crap, that tastes like mold"?? PS: Texie-----I hear you can smoke anything!   I tried to smoke a chicken one time-----but, I couldn't keep the little booger lit!  |

| Smoked some pork roasts and beef roast over night on Friday. Damn wind made life difficult in the early morning hours. Caused me to use alot of charcoal! Pork roasts were a bit overdone, but taste wonderful. I like it plain, but could add some Head Country BBQ sauce, if you like. Beef roast was PERFECT! I was pleased on how it turned out. Didn't get the ribs on. Got tired of fighting wind. I will keep practicing, then you will see me at the DC Days BBQ!

| Smoked some ribs on Saturday. Been "porking down" on them all weekend. MMMMMMMMMM--MMMMMMMMMM Good!! |

So the smoker worked good for you. I am going down to New Boston TX to my brother-in-laws as he has a brand new smoker he has never used. He said it was a Oklahoma Smoking Joe, what ever that is. I was there couple years ago to put up a privacy fence and had to move it, SOAB was it heavy. Once I get it here, taking it to get it powder coated and then give it a try.
