Gangs are something to consider if you choose Garden or Dodge. Cimmaron is the go between but small.

What's to population of the city you are moving from?

I just has this gut feeling that you are in for a shock when you move out here. If I were being honest, I'd say if I didn't already live here, I probably would not live here.

the population in the town we live in is about 15000. and the city that is about 5 minutes south of us is about 119500.population

So, looking at that kind of population in your area, I would assume that traveling 20-45 minutes to get to something isn't really that big of a deal. If you could survive the culture shock of living in a town of 2000 with very little crime and very good schools, Cimarron might be a good choice.

Cimarron has a good local grocery store, a drugstore with an old fashioned soda fountain setup, a Dollar General, a locally owned pizza parlor, a nice restaurant/bar(maybe more like a supper club) called Brandy's, a small bowling alley, a recreation center that has basketball, racquetball and such, a pretty nice golf course.

i was wondering how far i would have to go to ride my atv? other then going to syracuse to ride? oh and is there a super walmart in the area?

Many people I know in Cimarron ride their atv's in the dry river bed and old sand pit area south of town. Both Dodge City and Garden City have super Wal-Mart's and as said previously Garden City is to have a Sam's Club as well by the end of the year.
